Media Center as in the classroom. Ø
No eating or possession of candy,
gum or drinks. Ø
Computers are for completing
classroom assignments only. NO
games. Ø
Please be respectful of media
materials and students using the media center. General
Information 1.
Media
center hours are 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. daily. 2.
Students
must bring a PERMISSION SLIP from a teacher when they visit the center unless
they are with a teacher. 3.
Books may
be borrowed for two (2) weeks. They
may be renewed. 4.
Fines for
overdue books from the general collection are five cents per day. 5.
Fines for
overdue reference books are twenty-five cents per day. 6.
Reference
books and magazines used for any project may be borrowed overnight only.
These items should be returned to the circulation desk before first
period. 7.
CURRENT
issues of magazines may not be checked out. 8.
Students
may check out two (2) books from the Media center at one time.
Please check out only one book from the Battle of the Books shelf at a
time. 9.
Students
with overdue books may not check out additional books until those are returned.
Students with unpaid fines may check out only one book until the record
is cleared. 10.
All
students will receive notices of overdue books and/or fines during homeroom. 11.
Books
should be returned to the media center, placed in a book drop located in the
upper hall of the Daniels Building or in the book drop located in the front hall
of the Bates Building. Links
