The Model United Nations Security Council

The Model UN Security Council is starting its fifth year at Daniels Middle School. During the past four years over one hundred students have taken part in this program, bringing home over thirty top awards from the conferences they attend at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. All students, grades 6-8, are invited to attend the meetings and be involved in the organization. This program is a way of getting students involved in and aware of the various international events that are affecting the interests and well-being of the United States as we move into the new millennium.
