Announcements for the upcoming 2008-09 School year:

Sixth Graders who are interested in running for the office of Second Vice President should attend an informational meeting in Ms. Andrew's room  (2112) on Thursday, August 28 from 2:20-3:00.

General elections will be during the week of September 2-5 during homeroom.

The first Student Council meeting of the school year will be held on Tuesday, September 9 - 2:20-3:00.

General Information:

• Student Council is an exciting club!   We plan lots of annual events that are great community service opportunities and fun ways to meet new people.
• We will have monthly meetings after school in the media center for our homeroom representatives, officers, and any other Daniels students that are interested in participating.  Members should arrange for their rides to pick them up from the front circle of Daniels promptly at 3 each meeting day.
• Representatives will be given important information at each meeting that they need to announce the following day to their homerooms.
• 3 absences will result in a homeroom reps’s automatic replacement by his/her alternate.
